Courses
Usui Reiki 1 (Beginners' Course)
Reiki level 1 is taught during a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. There is plenty of time for students to discuss the course as it happens and to ask plenty of questions. The course covers an introduction to Usui Reiki and discussion of its benefits, the background to and history of Reiki healing, the Reiki Principles, Reiki Precepts, the Reiki lineage, Reiki hand positions, an introduction to the chakras and aura, the Reiki Attunements and opportunities for hands-on practice with self-treatment and in treating others. A pack of course materials is provided, including suggestions for further reading.
The cost of the course includes a light vegetarian lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits and the fee also covers a short follow-up session and the opportunity for ongoing supportive contact with the teacher by email/phone etc.
Usui Reiki 2 (Practitioners' Course)
The Reiki Level 2 training, for students who have already been attuned to Reiki 1, is taught in a single day course lasting about six and a half hours, including breaks. Again, there is plenty of time for discussion, questions and hands-on practice. The course covers a range of issues including learning about the Reiki symbols and various practices not available to Level 1 students, advice about becoming a Reiki practitioner and how to conduct a Reiki treatment session as well as two additional Reiki Attunements.
Usui Reiki 3 (Master/Teachers' Course)
Reiki Level 3 is a two-day course for students who have completed Reiki 2 and have had sufficient time to assimilate their learning. Third Degree Reiki is not only for those who want to become Reiki teachers and to pass on their experience to others but also for students who want to devote their lives to Reiki on a more personal level. Reiki 3 attunement can have profound effects upon the student, who must be fully aware of these before starting such a potentially life-changing course. The sessions involve learning about how to attune students to Reiki 1, 2 and 3 and how to go about teaching Reiki courses. The Master symbols are taught and the Master Attunement given, which sets the practitioner on the path to becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher. Again, there is plenty of time for hands-on practice and further course materials are provided. The cost of the course includes a light vegetarian lunch on both days, tea/coffee and biscuits. The fee also includes a short follow-up session and the opportunity for ongoing supportive contact with the teacher by email/phone etc.
N.B. Linden is willing to take students for Reiki 2 and 3 who have done their Reiki 1 courses elsewhere, but this would require prior discussion with her about the implications for the student's learning.
